It’s again being reported in South America that Diego Gómez moving from Inter Miami to Brighton & Hove Albion is pretty much a sure thing.
We’ve been covering repeated and confident reports on the player moving to the Premier League club and he’s even spoken about the situation himself.
A few days ago he was quoted as saying: “My representative is speaking with the club here and with Brighton. I came here to make the jump to Europe; I hope it happens to me. Let it be what God wants.”
The 21-year-old has been earning a growing reputation in MLS since joining Inter Miami from Libertad in July 2023, managing four goals and three assists in 27 games to date.
