Everton and Aston Villa are the only two clubs to have won all their Premier League matches this season.

The Toffees have enjoyed a brilliant start to their season, winning four matches and scoring 12 goals in the process.

Carlo Ancelotti has seen his side concede five goals, and Jordan Pickford has been facing criticism.

Gazzetta dello Sport transfer live blog from Sunday explained the Merseyside club are working on signing AS Roma’s Pau López on a loan deal.

Calciomercato explains the Spaniard could leave the Serie A side, a year after joining them from Real Betis.

It’s claimed Everton are looking to bring in a deputy for Pickford, and the 26-year-old could be the ‘right’ candidate’

As per the report, the two clubs are working on finding an agreement that suits all parties involved. It would be a loan deal, and it’s not clear whether there will be any option/mandatory clause to make López’s transfer permanent.

According to LAROMA24.it, López has a ‘loan request’ from the English club, and he could leave Paulo Fonseca’s side on deadline day.

The report also adds Roma are willing to give the green light for López to join Everton on a loan deal.
