TRT Spor commentator Tarik Ustun has claimed Besiktas central defender Domagoj Vida has rejected the chance to sign for Norwich City.

Ustun reports the Croatia international doesn’t want to play for either Norwich City or Marseille as he’s keen to stay with Besiktas for next season.

Earlier in this transfer window we covered reports from Turkey that the newly promoted Premier League side were interested in Vida and were ready to pay €10m for the player.

It was claimed the Super Lig club wouldn’t sell Vida to Norwich City for such an offer.

Ustun also said Marseille were in the picture for the 30 year old, but Vida told his agent to reject any approaches from the French club.

The Croatia international has been continuously linked with a move to the Premier League since his performances in last summer’s World Cup. The former Dynamo Kiev man has also been linked with Wolves and Everton in the past 12 months.
