Just last week, we covered Sávio making it clear that his objective is to play for Manchester City.
The winger, who belongs to Troyes, is having a very good loan spell at Girona, and doesn’t hide the wish of being switched by the City Group to their English club.
Today, it’s Brazilian outlet UOL who feature a piece on Savinho’s future, claiming he’s been targeted by approaches recently.
It’s said Manchester City’s owners have been receiving interest from English and Spanish clubs regarding his situation.
The player is aware of that interest, but wants to continue with his loan at Girona, and doesn’t think of a January move.
The City Group are said to value him at €30m. A reason for them not to sell him now is that they believe that amount could go up during the season.
For now, there’s absolutely no information on whether Pep Guardiola would be interested in having Savinho at Manchester City in the near future.
Playing for Girona, who are now on top of La Liga, the Brazilian has five goals and five assists in 18 appearances.
