Héctor Bellerín has made only two league appearances since Arsenal suffered a defeat at the hands of Manchester City on February 21st.
The right-back is ‘ready to leave’ the north London club after this season, if a report from Calciomercato.it is to be believed.
Juventus and Inter Milan are interested in the 26-year-old and there were contacts with the two Serie A sides in recent weeks. However, these talks have not yet led to ‘concrete negotiations.’
He has once again ended up on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain because they started to have doubts over redeeming Alessandro Florenzi [currently on loan from AS Roma] after this campaign.
It’s claimed PSG have a ‘strong interest’ in Mikel Arteta’s man and this was ‘reiterated’ during contact that took place between the Ligue 1 side and intermediaries, most likely representing the Gunners fullback.
PSG sporting director Leonardo is also evaluating other options in the market because he doesn’t want the Paris club to be left unprepared, if Arsenal make ‘excessive demands’ for Bellerín’s sale.
Potential competition for Bellerín’s signature from elsewhere is another reason why PSG are looking at other right-backs. Serge Aurier is one of the targets, but not everyone at the Parc des Princes is in agreement over the Tottenham Hotspur player’s return to the club.
Bellerín is ‘ready to leave’ Arsenal and it remains to be seen where he will end up in the next market.
