Emerson Palmieri could be ‘on his way out’ of West Ham United in the summer window, according to Leggo, relayed by ASRomaLive.it.

The left-back has been a regular for the Hammers since joining them in 2022, and he finished the recently concluded season with 47 appearances.

His deal lasts until 2026, with an option for another year, and the report says the 29-year-old is ‘ready to leave’ West Ham in the summer window.

The Brazil-born Italy international arrived in England when Chelsea signed him from AS Roma in 2018, and he hasn’t ruled out a return to the Serie A side.

On Monday, new Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi arrived in Italy, and he’ll now start to work on the club’s transfers.

Roma are likely to make Angeliño’s loan stay permanent, looking for a new left-back to please Daniele De Rossi, more so because Leonardo Spinazzola’s deal will expire in June.

Emerson is ready to leave West Ham, and Ghisolfi could pounce on this opportunity to bring him back to the club. Roma are of the belief he can replace Spinazzola, and he also ‘guarantees quality’ to De Rossi.

Leggo make no mention of the Premier League side’s stance on letting their player leave.
