Haberturk claim Fenerbahce have made an offer for Everton forward Cenk Tosun ahead of the January transfer window but the Turkey international has rejected the proposal.
The player has been linked with a return to his former club in recent weeks.
Tosun was left out of Everton’s last matchday squad against Burnley, which has fuelled speculation in the Turkish press he could leave the Premier League club in the new year.
Everton manager Marco Silva said he left Tosun out due to tactical reasons but maintained the attacker could still have a future at Goodison Park.
According to Haberturk, Fenerbahce have approached Tosun over a potential loan move but the 27 year old wants to prove himself in the Premier League with the Toffees.
It’s been documented in Turkey that the Istanbul club want to bring in a No.9 in the next window, with their current three forwards scoring just fours goals between them this season.
Tosun has played 16 games for Merseyside club this season, scoring two goals.
