Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici has spoken to Trabzon based newspaper Taka about his future.
After the Super Lig club’s president Ahmet Agaoglu revealed scouts from Lille and Manchester United travelled to Turkey to get a lowdown on him, Yazici was asked about a potential transfer to the Premier League club: “The league is not over yet. We still have a lot to play for. Transfer talks will wait until the end of the season. I am only focused on our next game against Konyaspor.”
The 22-year old was one of the best players during his side’s 4-2 victory over Kayserispor on Monday, with reports Manchester United were impressed with his performance.
It’s likely Yazici will leave Trabzonspor at the end of the season and there have been claims this week Manchester United could be lining up an offer to sign the youngster ahead of the summer transfer window.
The English club have also been linked with his club teammate Abdulkadir Omur after watching him this week.
Yazici is under contract at Trabzonspor until June 2022 and he’s also been linked with a move to Cardiff City in recent weeks.
