Striker Rey Manaj is currently enjoying a lot of success in his first season in Turkey, with a report emerging just over a year after his Watford release.
After joining Sivasspor as a free agent last summer, his initial months in the Süper Lig have apparently been enough to draw the interest from other clubs.
Outlet Sabah today writes that Besiktas, who are looking for some summer reinforcements, are now preparing a ‘crazy offer’ to get the former Watford man signed.
It’s said the Süper Lig side will put ‘over €10m’ on the table for Manaj, but it remains to be seen whether Sivasspor will accept that.
Since arriving in Turkey, the striker has 18 goals in 26 appearances, so it’s not that much of a surprise that other clubs have started taking an interest in him.
Manaj joined Watford in the summer of 2022 in a move from Barcelona, but only spent a few months at Vicarage Road until February 2023, having his contract terminated by mutual consent after just seven appearances, with no goals or assists.
He remained without a club until the summer, and it now seems that his choice to sign for Sivasspor went pretty well.
