Everton’s demands continue to push Torino away from a deal for striker Beto, despite the striker wanting the move and making that clear.

That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed by Tuttomercatoweb, who report Everton are remaining firm in their demands to the Italian club.

They explain that Torino technical director Davide Vagnati is working to strengthen their attack this month and the main target remains the Everton striker.

He has already given his approval to the transfer, but convincing Everton is remaining a difficult task.

Torino are willing to put a €14m deal in total on the table. That would be €3m in a loan fee and another €11m linked to conditions such as survival in Serie A, a certain number of appearances and goals from the striker.

Everton, however, are asking for €5m for the initial loan fee and an obligation set at €20m. Torino don’t want to pay that and those figures ‘make an agreement difficult’.

Everton have initially said no but negotiations continue thanks to the will of the striker, who is ‘pushing’ to move to Turin. He has no intention of staying at Goodison Park or in the Premier League and hopes to ‘force’ through the move.

Vagnati could adjust his offer up to a total of €15-16m to try and tempt Everton but remains attentive to other options if they stay firm with their demands.
