Once again, AS Roma need to raise some money, and the Italian media have been reporting for some months that players will be offloaded before serious signings can be brought in.
AreaNapoli report that the player with the transfer spotlight on him most is Cengiz Under, with him being offered to Serie A sides including Napoli. He’s also been offered to clubs outside of Italy, and it’s stated Borussia Dortmund have snubbed the chance to sign the player, whereas there’s ‘potential openings’ at West Ham and Everton.
The Toffees have been linked previously, but since Carlo Ancelotti arrived they’ve been linked with endless players in Serie A.
When it comes to West Ham, it’s stated their potential interest would depend entirely on them avoiding relegation to the Championship.
Roma are looking for €35m, and are keen on a sale, yet Napoli would only be prepared to pay around €25m. West Ham’s stance on the fee isn’t shared.
Under is a 22 year old attacker, and usually plays on the right side of attack. In 21 matches this season he’s found the back of the net three times, and struggled to show consistency.
