There’s been more than one suggestion that Juan Foyth was keen on a Tottenham Hotspur move, but talks broke down between the Premier League club and Estudiantes.
As PSG came into the race, and started to look likelier than Tottenham, it was reported in Argentina that Foyth favoured the Premier League and was eager to work with fellow Argentine Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs.
Now things are crawling forward with PSG, although the French club have more pressing matters on the transfer front. Still, Foyth wants the same terms and length of contract as what he’d been offered by Tottenham.
Diario Hoy say that whilst friends of the young defender confirm he’ll listen to PSG’s advances, Foyth is looking for something similar to what he expected from Tottenham before the transfer came to a halt.
There’s every chance Spurs could reignite their interest, especially if Estudiantes show a willingness to compromise on price.
