With Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri looking for a new goalkeeper for his team, outlet Citta Celeste today features a piece where they talk about all the options there are on the table.
It seems one of the latest names to show up in the club’s list is the one of Pierluigi Gollini, who belongs to Atalanta and is having a loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur this season.
His move to London could of course deter any interested sides, as Spurs have a buying option over him. However, according to this story, that clause will not be triggered.
The reason for it is that Gollini is ‘not satisfied’ at Tottenham. He only has 10 appearances, as Antonio Conte only uses him in cup games, and that makes him ‘determined to leave’.
It’s said Gollini wants to find a club where he can be a starter, and with him not having that at Spurs, the Premier League side are simply not satisfy him.
Now Sarri could end up signing him for Lazio, but that’s only expected to be a summer operation, once the goalkeeper returns from his time in England.
