Leeds United’s Marc Roca has already expressed his intention to continue at Real Betis beyond his loan deal.
Last month, we relayed news from Spain that the La Liga side had asked the Whites about also signing Junior Firpo, when discussing a potential deal for Roca.
Leeds signed the left-back from Barcelona in 2021, two years after he joined them from Real Betis.
Recent claims have mentioned the possibility of the 27-year-old returning to Real Betis to replace Juan Miranda. The latter is expected to join AC Milan next month and Estadio Deportivo provide their own take on the possibility of Junior returning.
It’s claimed the Leeds player speaks ‘regularly’ with Real Betis’ officials and also some of his former teammates.
However, the report adds Junior’s name is not on the table at the Andalusian club, despite being in regular contact with them. In addition to this, Estadio add the fullback hasn’t asked to leave Daniel Farke’s side.
Junior’s start to the season was hindered by a knee injury and since regaining full fitness in November, he’s made three appearances for Leeds.
