Last week, we covered claims from Brazil which stated Andreas Pereira is refusing to sign a new contract at Fulham.
This is now backed up journalist Fábio Sormani on his YouTube channel and Bolavip Brasil have relayed his comments.
Sormani has gathered information from another journalist, Gabriel Reis, also known as Paparazzo RN, about the Fulham player. The Brazil international has 15 months left on his contract, with an option for another year.
“Andreas Pereira no longer wants to stay at Fulham. The information was given to me by Paparazzo RN. His first option would be to return to Flamengo,” he said.
Sormani then shares his own update on Santos star Neymar calling Pereira to join him at the Brazilian club.
“But Santos got involved. How? Neymar called him. ‘Come play here. You always said you’re a Santos fan. Forget Flamengo, Fulham. Forget everyone’,” Sormani explained.
Reis then took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report the former Manchester United man wanting to leave Marco Silva’s side. The player was on loan at Flamengo during the 2021/22 season.
Pereira feels ‘undervalued’ at Fulham and a source close him told Reis that his desire is to return to Flamengo. The journalist adds another unnamed Brazilian club are interested, but he’s ruling them out for now.
Last Friday, Globo Esporte staed that finances of the potential operation make it difficult for Flamengo to sign the Fulham player in the summer window.
