De Telegraaf have a little snippet in their Tuesday edition on Thomas Lam and his developing Nottingham Forest exit.
The 23 year old moved to Nottingham Forest just over a year ago, signing from Zwolle on a free transfer. It’s a return to the Netherlands which is on the cards for Lam, and the Dutch top division.
Lam will be joining FC Twente, according to the Dutch newspaper, who although arguably a bigger club than Zwolle are in 15th place, compared to the 3rd place of Lam’s old side.
De Telegraaf say the Nottingham Forest defender is expected at Twente’s training ground on Tuesday to go through his medical examinations.
There’s also final talks to be held to confirm all the details of the switch, and then Twente can present their new signing.
The structure of the deal isn’t reported, but it’s unlikely Twente are parting with much money, whether it be a loan or a permanent transfer.
