Two days ago, AS reported CA Osasuna are aware of Wolverhampton Wanderers showing interest in David García.

It was also explained the La Liga side will only part ways with the defender if his €20m buyout clause is paid in January.

Estadio Deportivo discuss Wolves’ interest in the 28-year-old and state his current clause is a bargain for top clubs in Spain and England.

With Julen Lopetegui’s side and a few other clubs in the picture to sign the centre-back, he has now talked about his future at Osasuna.

“I try to take it from my position naturally, calmly above all. I am on the lips of a lot of people and in the end, I have to try not to let this type of thing affect me. It is a source of praise, because when you do things well and the People recognize it, it’s a joy,” Estadio Deportivo quoted him as saying.

The Spaniard’s deal is until 2026 and amid interest from Wolves, he has now insisted to fulfil his contract at Osasuna.

“Unless something unusual happens, I am an Osasuna player until 2026… Today there is nothing, and that’s it,” García explained.

“People like to talk too much, they like to talk about others and that’s what makes me sad, that people put my name in people’s mouths…”

García is not the only centre-back linked to Wolves as Atlético Madrid’s Felipe has been named as a January target for them.

Earlier today, Lopetegui confirmed the English side are interested to sign the Brazilian and his club teammate, Matheus Cunha, in the winter market.
