According to a claim in the Swedish media, Hull City midfielder Sebastian Larsson could sign for AIK today.
The Swede has been linked with the Stockholm based club in recent weeks and things may now move quickly.
Expressen report Larsson is on the verge of signing a 2 and a half year contract with an option of a third year, just 12 months after signing for Hull City. The veteran has recently been in talks with AIK, and in the past week a move to the Swedish club has looked more likely.
It’s now hoped AIK can offcially announce his signing before the World Cup starts next week, where Larsson will be representing Sweden.
Larsson’s move back to his home country will end his long association with English football after spells with Arsenal, Birmingham City, Sunderland and Hull City.
The 32 year old has spent his whole career in England and has yet to play in the Swedish league.
