According to a claim in the Greek media, Olympiacos midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe looks set to turn down a move to Leeds United because he’s keen to play in Russia.

The Belgian has been linked with Leeds United in the past week, along with Krasnodar and Club Brugge.

Sdna report Odjidja-Ofoe wants a move to Krasnodar instead of Leeds United, and Olympiacos are looking to recoup what the €2m they paid Legia Warsaw last summer.

Odjidja-Ofoe was on the verge of joining Krasnodar last summer, but his move collapsed when he failed his medical with the Russian Super League club. It was claimed Krasnodar found an issue with his knees.

Now it’s over to Leeds United to decide if the level of their interest means it’s worth putting up any kind of fight for the player.

The player is contracted to the Greek giants until June 2020.
