Crystal Palace are keen on Juventus centre-back Radu Dragusin and have already made an offer to sign him this summer.
That’s according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, who say he is one of several Juve youngsters who could be sold to raise funds at the Italian club.
They explain that one of the legacies of Andrea Pirlo’s sole year in charge is the emergence of several youngsters, who were all given their chance at various points in the campaign.
Dragusin is one of them, making four appearances in all competitions last season when Pirlo called upon the youngsters to bolster his squad.
However, a departure is ‘not out of the question’ for him, and he has ‘long been in the sights’ of Crystal Palace.
They have already made an offer for him, although there’s no mention of whether this is for a transfer or a loan. Similarly, if it is the latter, there’s no mention of a fee, just that they’ve made a bid.
Dragusin, though, wouldn’t mind staying where he is and establishing himself as the fourth option under Massimiliano Allegri, believing that could give him his chance to play at some point.
It’s a decision he’s not finalised yet, and ‘meetings and evaluations’ are planned to decide what will happen in terms of his future.
Should he go, though, Crystal Palace have already made their interest clear and are likely to be at the front of the queue.
