Spanish newspaper Marca seem to believe Jesus Navas will be leaving Manchester City in the summer. The winger sees his contract expire on June 30th, and with no renewal looking imminent, there’s an assumption a move is on the cards.

On Monday we covered claims from Turkey that Fenerbahce are very interested in signing the Spaniard from Manchester City, and manager Dick Advocaat has already given his blessing to a potential deal. The Turkish club will now try and get Navas’ agents to fly over and chat to them about a free transfer.

Marca say that Navas is loco, ‘like crazy’, to return to his former club Sevilla. On the face of it, Spain may be more tempting than Fenerbahce, and if Sevilla can offer a good package then it looks like a move which could benefit everyone.

That’s unless Pep Guardiola decides he wants to keep Jesus Navas for a further season, or perhaps two, and can convince the player to sign a renewal.

Whichever destination it may be, the momentum is certainly building on a Jesus Navas exit.
