Nacho Pussetto should officially become a Watford player pretty soon, according to claims coming from Italy.

The Udinese forward is expected to sign for the Hornets, with TuttoUdinese believing the announcement could come today. Links appeared on Monday and it seems there’s been no time wasted, with the relationship in place through the Pozzo family clearly helping to speed everything up.

A medical will now take place before Pussetto signs for the Premier League club, yet there’s worry in the Udinese media that he’ll find it even harder to get minutes at his new destination.

Watford’s attacking division is stronger than that at the Italian side, so the 24 year old Argentine has got a big task ahead of him.

The player posted an Instagram story on Monday evening, with a plane, and it’s assumed that was his message that he’s travelling to seal the deal.

There’s no confirmation on whether the move is a loan or permanent deal, although that doesn’t matter so much given the Pozzo connection.
