It’s fair to say Casper Sloth’s time at Leeds United didn’t go well for the player. Signed in 2014, Sloth left during the summer, with Garry Monk’s arrival doing nothing to change the Dane’s unhappy period in Yorkshire.

Signing for AaB, Sloth had planned to put Leeds United behind him and kick-on back in his home country, but things haven’t gone to plan and it seems the midfielder has an Elland Road hangover.

On Monday, Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet go over the transfer successes and failures of each club, with Sloth’s move from Leeds labelled a ‘disappointment’.

Ekstra Bladet say Sloth is: ‘Devoid of self-confidence after the failed stay in Leeds.’

That Sloth has failed to have the impact expected at AaB will be a concern to the player, but there’s plenty of time to turn things around and have a happier time back in Denmark.
