Player keen on Newcastle United transfer, financials may be an issue

It’s probably not unfair to say that 80% of Newcastle United related stories in the European media are about Florian Thuavin right now.

Linked with a move to Inter Milan, just like several hundred other players in recent years, Thauvin has been the subject of many stories in the Italian media.

There’s been claims he’s very keen on a move and is pushing to leave Newcastle United, although the Italian media have probably overplayed things slightly.

In France, it’s still Marseille considered the likeliest option. French newspaper L’Equipe say on Saturday that Thauvin wants to return to Marseille, after his loan move back last year.

The problem for Marseille is scraping together enough money to make it happen. A situation which may drag on all summer.
