Last summer, FC Metz allowed Vincent Thill to join third division French club Pau on a season-long loan deal, where he scored 10 goals and registered three assists in 25 league appearances.
His performances have attracted clubs in England and according to Soccer Link, the 19-year-old is of interest to West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City.
The Canaries are one of the three clubs promoted to the Premier League, while the Baggies will play in the Championship next season.
There’s no further details given on the interest from Norwich and West Brom.
In May 2016, the teenager signed his first professional contract with Metz and his current deal expires at the end of this month.
However, the French club have an option to further extend Thill’s contract by two years and they are likelier to exercise it than allow the player leave for nothing in the summer.
Last month, Thill gave an interview to Onze Mondial and asked the youngster if he has any particular desires?
To which, he replied: “The most decisive thing for me is the project proposed by my future club. I’d like to find a club that offers me to play regularly and meet a coach who has a philosophy focused on the possession of the ball. Some championships attract me…”
