West Ham United midfielder Tomáš Souček has insisted he has no problems at the club, when questioned about finding himself out of David Moyes’ side.
Souček is currently on international duty with Poland, where he has sat down for an interview with Idnes.
He is expected to play a central role under new Poland manager Fernando Santos, who has taken charge following the departure of Czeslaw Michniewicz.
That will be a change from his situation at West Ham, where he has found himself in and out of the side this season.
Between December and the middle of February he found himself being increasingly substituted or earning reduced minutes, with Moyes preferring other options as he tries to find a team capable of picking up consistent points to help their fight against relegation.
Some players may be worried about such a change, particularly after being a regular in the starting 11 over the last few years.
Souček isn’t one of those, though, insisting that he has no problems at the London Stadium and doesn’t believe he’s out of the picture at the club.
“The fact that I did not play two or three games at West Ham in the Premier League does not mean that I would lose my place in the team,” he said.
“We play cups and a lot of matches, so my workload is, I would say, maximum. I am satisfied and I hope it will continue anyway.
“I still play a central position, although sometimes a bit more offensive. It also depends on who I start with.”
