Cesc Fabregas has told Chelsea he has no intention of leaving the club during the January transfer window, report Catalan newspaper Sport.

Even before the former Arsenal player’s mini revival, Fabregas had been reluctant to walk out of Chelsea with his tail between his legs half way through a season. Antonio Conte giving Fabregas a couple of chances and the midfielder taking those, will have given Fabregas even more confidence that his Chelsea career isn’t quite dead yet.

It could all work out very differently between now and the end of the current season, with Fabregas going on to play a big part in Chelsea winning the Premier League title.

Only time will tell, but for now Fabregas isn’t keen on going anywhere else. Sport say there has been widespread interest, none of it attractive enough to turn the footballer’s head.
