Claims around the future of Lucas Torreira continue to come from Italy.

The Arsenal player is Uruguayan, and whilst he’s played for Pescara and Sampdoria, the Italian connection comes from his agent.

Oscar Bentancourt is also from Uruguay, yet has a history of speaking to the Italian media about his clients. The agency also represents Gaston Ramirez and Abel Hernandez, and when the pair were playing in England there were countless claims in Italy about potential moves.

It was often pushed by TMW, and that’s also been the case with Torreira.

On Monday, TMW are back at it again, and state the midfielder is ‘increasingly convinced’ to leave Arsenal.

Once again it’s stated he’s unhappy with the way his season has gone under Unai Emery, and also displeased with the way the manager has been using him in a positional sense.

‘Latest contacts’ have convinced Torreira to look for new horizons, although it’s not stated who that contact was with.

Right now, the agenda seems to be getting it out there that the footballer isn’t happy, and that the situation is largely down to Emery.
