Turkish newspaper Aksam report Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has held talks with Loris Karius with regards to a potential return to the club.
The German goalkeeper has been on loan at Besiktas for the past two years, but there were reports in the Turkish media this month which stated they were looking to terminate his contract and send him back to Liverpool.
According to Aksam, Klopp has informed Karius he could return and remain with Liverpool for next season, but he’s made it clear he would be back up to Allisson.
However, there’ still a possibility Karius could find himself a new club this summer if he wants to be a regular first team player elsewhere.
The former Mainz goalkeeper was linked with a move to Wolves earlier this month as he looked to cancel his contract with Besiktas because of unpaid wages. His contract with Liverpool will expire at the end of June 2022.
