It seems that Manuel Milinkovic didn’t need much time at Heart of Midlothian FC to start attracting the interest from other clubs.
It’s Italian website TuttoMercatoWeb who has a story about him today, with some big highlight on the fantastic game he had against Celtic this weekend.
Scoring two goals and picking up an assist, the midfielder was key in bringing Brendan Rodgers’ side unbeaten domestic run.
Currently loaned by Genoa to Hearts until the end of the season, the player is already attracting the eyes from other sides, including from the English Championship.
Despite belonging to Genoa, Milinkovic has never really had the opportunity to play for the club, as he keeps being loaned from country to country.
So now it seems like a good chance for the Italian side to finally get some money from him. The only problem for Genoa (and a good thing for Hearts) is that he can’t move in January, since he has already played for two clubs this season.
But when the summer comes, would Hearts make a bid to keep him for longer? It seems there will be a lot of competition by then, especially since there will be only one year left in his contract with the Italian side.
However, if he picks up where he left off against Celtic, there’s also every chance Genoa might want to include him in their side next season too.
