Dutch fullback Marvin Zeegelaar could he flying to England today ahead of his Norwich City move, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
The player is reportedly being sold by Sporting CP for an initial fee of €3.5m, with bonuses which could push up to €3.75m.
Another Portuguese newspaper, O Jogo, who on Thursday said the player could also go to Crystal Palace, now agree that Norwich is his destination. They don’t even mention the Selhurst Park club this time.
The player signed for Sporting for €500k in January 2016, and certainly hasn’t been an outcast there this season. He’s made 16 appearances during the current campaign, including five games in the Champions League group stage.
Zeegelaar was even called up to the Dutch national squad in November last year, although he didn’t enter the pitch in any of the games.
The newspapers don’t mention how much he will earn or how long his contract at Norwich City will be.
