Goalkeeper Andrei Radu will be returning to Inter Milan from Bournemouth this summer after failing to establish himself with the Cherries.
That’s according to Inter News, who say the goalkeeper is ‘ready to return’ to Inter in the coming weeks before sealing a permanent move elsewhere.
Radu joined Andoni Iraola’s side on loan in the summer but managed just two appearances in the Premier League all season, conceding seven goals in them.
Indeed, he managed just five goals and 450 minutes of action all season for Bournemouth in total, a disappointing return and a clear indication why neither side will be looking for a permanent deal.
Inter News explain that the goalkeeper has failed to find peace at Bournemouth, a similar situation to other loan deals at Cremonese and Auxerre.
He had hoped he could prove himself to Inter Milan but that hasn’t been the case and he’ll instead return from Bournemouth before sealing a permanent move elsewhere.
His agents are planning to meet those in charge at Inter and discuss matters, with the goalkeeper only having a year left on his current deal and not a part of their plans.
The Italians want to make money on him and there is initial interest coming from Ligue 1 and Saudi Arabia, both of whom could offer Inter a small sum and Radu the chance to start again after his disappointing year at Bournemouth,
