Real Madrid have dismissed the chance of an exchange deal with Chelsea for Raphaël Varane.

That’s according to Defensa Central, who add Los Blancos aren’t interested in a swap deal involving the defender and a player from the west London club.

Recent reports have suggested Timo Werner has been sounded out as a target for Carlo Ancelotti and the Blues could use him to get the 28-year-old in exchange.

However, those in charge at the Bernabéu ‘rule out’ an exchange deal with the Champions League winners involving the centre-back and the German forward.

Real Madrid’s ‘objective’ is ‘only money for Varane’, if he doesn’t sign a new deal. His current deal contract down in 2022 and without a renewal, the Spanish giants’ idea is to cash in a ‘minimum amount of €50m’.

Meanwhile, Friday’s edition of ABC explains the France international has ‘has offers’ from Thomas Tuchel’s side, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG are also interested in Sergio Ramos and the offer that convinces him the most is the one from the Ligue 1 side.

Varane is handling offers from Chelsea, United and PSG, while Real Madrid have reportedly made a renewal proposal to him.

There should be more clarity on his future after the end of France’s Euro 2020 campaign.
