Alexandre Lacazette has ‘fully decided’ to leave Arsenal next summer, and Atlético Madrid are waiting in the wings to snap him up.

That’s according to Fichajes, who say the Frenchman is on their list of ‘several top players’ they are keeping an eye on who may be available on a free next year.

They explain that Atlético are always keen on a bargain, and Lacazette, whose contract with Arsenal expires next summer, is one of three who is ‘very much liked’ by the sports management and chief Andrea Berta.

The striker is a player that Atlético manager Diego Simeone has ‘always liked’, and he would ‘finally’ have the chance to link up with him when he leaves Arsenal.

That is now considered a when not an if, with the website stating that Lacazette has ‘fully decided’ to bring his time at the Emirates to an end.

There is no mention of whether there have been talks with Atlético or anyone else at this point, although, given the number of reports around him, the queue to start them must be lengthy.

And it seems Atlético are already a part of it, with Berta keen to do a deal and get a player that his manager has apparently wanted for a while.
