Portuguese newspaper O Jogo today has a short update on Vitor Ferreira’s move from FC Porto to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
When originally reporting the move, it was claimed that the player would fly to England following his schedule with the U21 national team.
And even though yesterday’s game against Belorussia was postponed due to Coronavirus cases, the newspaper writes today that his plans won’t change.
Vítor Ferreira is still not returning to Porto before completing the move. He’s travelling today straight to Wolverhampton, where he’ll have his medical and sort the final details of the transfer.
The midfielder is joining Wolves on a one-year deal, and Record says the Premier League side will have an option to buy him for €20m at the end of the season.
It’s worth pointing out they’re the only newspaper who don’t refer to the clause as obligatory, as all other Portuguese outlets insist that the loan will become a permanent move at the end of the spell.
