Filip Krovinovic is signing for West Bromwich Albion on a loan deal, according to Portuguese outlet Record.
Although Record doesn’t have anything in their paper edition, they bring an article on their website saying the player is ‘certain’ at the Baggies.
It’s claimed West Brom are paying £300k for the loan, and this amount would be doubled if they achieve the promotion to the Premier League.
Just like reported by the Portuguese press this morning, Krovinovic was part of Benfica’s squad presentation for the preseason. However, Record says he should soon fly to England to make his move official.
The report claims that several English sides were after Krovinovic, which sounds true, since we had covered claims that Norwich City were close to signing him last week.
It’s still not said if there’s a buying option included in the contract, but since this is the first article about the move, we should have more complete stories throughout the day.
