Barcelona’s Andre Gomes has already been made aware he has no future at the Camp Nou, but the midfielder is yet to find a new club.

The Portuguese international’s situation could change, if constant reports in Spain are to be believed.

According to TV3, the former Valencia man has a ‘firm offer’ from West Ham United and the Hammers are already negotiating with the La Liga winners for the transfer of the player.

Gomes is no longer included in Ernesto Valverde’s plans at the club. However, he is ‘very well regarded’ by new West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini and the English capital club will have until August 9th to complete a deal for the midfielder.

The 25-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in the Spanish champions’ first preseason friendly against Tottenham Hotspur and the latest setback will keep him out of action for the next four weeks.

If he joins the Premier League club, he’d miss any August matches.

The Catalan media have been trying to find a home for Andre Gomes for over a year, so it remains to be seen just how firm the West Ham interest is.
