Today’s edition of Tuttosport has a report on Erling Braut Haaland and they state the Red Bull Salzburg star is ‘one step away’ from Juventus.
The Serie A winners have placed themselves in the ‘fast lane’ for the striker because of their good relations with his adviser, Mino Raiola. The super-agent also manages Manchester United star Paul Pogba and the midfielder is in the sights of Juve chief Fabio Paratici.
It’s claimed the France international is ‘fed up’ with the Red Devils and he dreams of returning to the Turin club.
Tutto take a look at the Pogba case and see if there’s a need for the Old Lady to accelerate efforts to sign him in January.
Maurizio Sarri wants to refresh his midfield, with Blaise Matuidi and Sami Khedria having contracts expiring in 2020. They are also willing to allow Emre Can leave the club in the midseason window.
Juventus would be open to the idea of a swap deal involving Can and Pogba. The transfer would be a loan with mandatory purchase option so that it can help both clubs to balance their books.
The report adds Manchester United like the former Liverpool man, but the possibility of a swap deal, even with cash added, doesn’t please the Old Trafford club.
Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Can and Leandro Paredes could be included as part of the deal.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer making clear Pogba will not be allowed to leave United in January, it looks like Tuttosport are lobbying on Juventus’ behalf to push for his transfer.
