It appears that West Ham United are finally getting the defender they have been chasing these past few weeks, and his name is Thilo Kehrer.

This won’t really come as a surprise to fans of the Hammers, as it’s been made abundantly clear from the media on both sides of the Channel that the Germany international was a target fore David Moyes.

The issue was convincing both Paris Saint-Germain and the defender, and it appears both goals have been achieved, according to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins.

Taking to Twitter, he explained that Kehrer is ‘expected in London today to undergo his medical’ after the Ligue 1 champions and West Ham ‘found an agreement’.

Therefore, ‘four years after his arrival’ in the French capital, the German will leave Paris to head to a new capital, this time in England.

There’s no mention of how much West Ham are paying for the 25-year-old, but with just the one year left on his contract at the Parc des Princes, it won’t be a bank breaking figure.
