Earlier today we covered claims from Turkey that Fenerbahce, Real Betis and West Ham United have all made offers to Guido Rodriguez this week.

The information appeared to be coming from the player’s camp, and it was then stated the West Ham offer was the best financially.

Then the journalist involved, Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, reported a move to the Hammers was close, and at the same time TyC Sports in Argentina reported it was all pretty much a done deal and a medical was on the way.

TyC, one of Argentina’s biggest media outlets, have continued along that line. They now say Rodriguez ‘has everything agreed’ to sign for West Ham.

The midfielder left Real Betis as a free agent at the end of June and that makes the deal easier to conclude. He’s ‘opted for English football’ and his medical is expected in the coming days.

Rodriguez will sign a contract with West Ham until 2027 which will take him to the age of 33.

The 30-year-old Argentina international is a World Cup winner and has two Copa America titles.
