Loaned to Southampton from Benfica during the second half of the 2014-15 season, Filip Djuricic knows the Premier League a bit.
That could come in handy, since the 29-year-old, who has been at Sassuolo since 2018, is now a target for three clubs in England’s top tier.
One of those are the Saints, with the other two being West Ham and most recently Watford.
That last addition comes courtesy of TuttoMercatoWeb, who claim the Hornets, recently promoted back to the Premier League at the first ask, have joined the race for the right footed attacking midfielder.
The Italian website doesn’t give us much else regarding this, just that Djuricic has ‘ended up in the sights’ of Watford, who know the Serie A market well thanks to their owners, the Pozzo family.
The Serbian was in good form for a rather overachieving Sassuolo this year, scoring five goals and assisting another four in 32 league appearances.
