Manchester City defender Jason Denayer has reportedly asked the Premier League side to let him sign for Galatasaray on loan.
Fanatik claim the 22 year old defender is desperate to play for Galatasaray again, and he’s made it clear to the Manchester City board that he wants to join the Turkish giants.
Galatasaray manager Igor Tudor reportedly wants to partner Maicon with Denayer, and the Turkish club are currently working hard to get a deal done.
Fanatik have claimed the Belgian defender has informed Manchester City about wishes via his agent, with the Turkish media outlet imagining he said something along the line of: “Please let me join Galatasaray. I was very happy there, and I also think I can improve myself in the Turkish League.”
Last summer Denayer was denied the chance to rejoin Galatasaray after his previous loan spell with the club. Manchester City blocked the move, and the Belgian international was instead offloaded to Sunderland for a season.
It’s likely talks will continue over a loan deal for the defender, and even though Manchester City aren’t keen to let him head to Turkey, the player may still get his own way.
Denayer’s desire failing to match that of Manchester City is a theme which has been reported for some months, but perhaps this summer the defender is more determined to get his own way.
