The front page of today’s edition of Sport has a story of Barcelona issuing an ‘ultimatum’ to Paris Saint-Germain’s Adrien Rabiot.
They want the midfielder to make a decision on his future and will wait until the end of this week.
The Camp Nou outfit have done everything possible from their end to land the France international. The 23-year-old ‘dreams of signing’ for the La Liga winners and now he has to take the step forward if he wants to make a move away from Parc des Princes.
His environment will meet PSG this week, so that a decision can be taken on his future. The report mentions, from now on, the player’s case will be given more significance and will be handled directly by the club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
PSG have been in the market to bring in a new midfielder, but the players they want are not to ready to join them.
Without managing to secure a quality replacement, PSG believes it is best to hand Rabiot a new contract. Should this happen, Sport claim Barcelona will look for alternatives in the transfer window.
