As the Italian media reckons that Victor Osimhen’s time at Napoli may be running out, Chelsea continue to be presented as his favourite destination.
Corriere Del Mezzogiorno, relayed by CalcioNapoli24, today writes that with the player is doubt for Friday’s match against Fiorentina, he may be having his final minutes at the club.
It’s said Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea and Saudi clubs are set to compete for his signing in the summer, and as he ‘dreams’ of the Premier League, that becomes the ‘ideal scenario’.
The big obstacle, however, is the €120m release clause demanded by Napoli, so those clubs would have to negotiate for a reasonable fee.
Meanwhile, Sky, also relayed by CalcioNapoli24, claims that Osimhen is set to miss out Friday’s match due to injury.
That means the striker may have only one game left for Napoli, which is the league’s final match against Lecce.
Then it will be time for another summer saga, with clubs doing their best to take him from the Serie A. Chelsea are expected to be there, with Osimhen possibly giving them his priority.
