Mickaël Cuisance is impressing people in Germany, with his attitude and application since signing for Borussia Monchengladbach during the summer transfer window.

The 18 year old midfielder arrived from French club AS Nancy and since then he’s been living in Gladbach’s club centre, next to the German side’s training complex.

SportBild believe that’s helped make the youngster feel more comfortable and settled, and it’s stated he ‘doesn’t lack self confidence’.

That’s encouraged by interest from other clubs. SportBild claim Manchester City were keen to sign Cuisance during the summer transfer window, but Pep Guardiola’s men lost out to Gladbach.

That such a ‘great club’ like Manchester City were keen, and obviously a great manager like Guardiola linked, has clearly peaked interest in Germany in the young Frenchman.

Manchester City probably lost out due to Gladbach’s willingness to integrate Cuisance into the first team quickly.
