Inter Milan’s Alessandro Bastoni was one of the integral members of their title winning squad under Antonio Conte last season.
The manager parted ways with the Nerazzurri in May 2021 and took charge of Tottenham Hotspur last November.
The centre-back, on the other hand, has continued to have an important role even after Simone Inzaghi arrived at the club.
For the past few days, reports in the British press have suggested Tottenham boss has included the 22-year-old in his summer target list.
According to FcInterNews, Bayern Munich have the Italy international’s name ‘circled’ for the next window, going as far as approaching his agent, Tullio Tinti, ‘asking for more information’ regarding the defender.
The Serie A winners, however, don’t have the intention to part ways with the player even if they will have to raise a significant amount and one way to do it by selling one of their stars in the next window.
‘Given this annoying condition, it is likely’ that Inter will take into consideration if they were to receive a ‘really important offer’ from Bayern.
The website then mentions about the rumoured interest from Tottenham.
It’s claimed that Bastoni has ‘discarded’ in his head the idea of reuniting with Conte in London and that’s because Spurs are ‘not part’ of the great European clubs.
