Atalanta midfielder Remo Freuler is on his way to complete his move to Nottingham Forest, according to reports from Italy.

Tutto Mercato Web reports that the player left Bergamo ‘with his family’ just ‘a few minutes ago’ and boarded to England. There he’s set to have a medical before signing a contract with the Reds.

That’s all the outlet has to say for now, bringing no more details regarding fees or details of the agreement between Freuler and Nottingham Forest.

Earlier today, however, other reports had already claimed the clubs had an agreement for the transfer to be made for €9m, with other potential €3m in performance bonuses.

The numbers written in the past couple of days have been a little diverging, but the truth is that that shouldn’t be far from reality, since Atalanta were said to be demanding €10m for the move.

It’s also been claimed that Nottingham Forest aren’t stopping on Freuler, and are now also interested in another player from the Serie A side.

That’s Ruslan Malinovskyi, although a deal for his transfer should be more difficult.
