Allan arrived at Everton from Napoli in 2020, when Carlo Ancelotti was in charge at Goodison Park.

Rafael Benítez replaced the Italian and the midfielder has retained his place in the starting lineup under the current manager, starting in every league tie this season.

The 30-year-old’s displays for the Toffees and his performances from his timein Naples count for something, at least in Serie A.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is an admirer of the Brazil international and has asked the Old Lady to make an effort to sign him in the winter market.

That’s according to Italian journalist Fabio Santini, who made these claims during 7 Gold’s program, Il Processo, as relayed by Area Napoli.

In order to ‘recover the lost ground’, Juve must make ‘important investments’ in the next window. Santini states the Turin club’s coach has asked for Allan and can propose Aaron Ramsey to Everton as part of the deal.

“Massimiliano Allegri asked for a footballer whom they know very well from Napoli because he played some excellent football years in Campania: I refer to Allan. As a partial counterpart, Ramsey could instead end up in England,” Santini said.

Allan’s contract with Everton runs down in 2023 and a lot will depend on whether the South American is open to the idea of returning to Italy in January.
