AMKSpor have reported Fenerbahçe are chasing Sunderland attacker Wahbi Khazri ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Turkish club are looking for players who can provide the team with width next season, and Sunderland’s Khazri has emerged as a target. Khazri was linked with a move to Fenerbahçe during last summer’s transfer window, but David Moyes blocked the deal.
AMKSpor say Fenerbahçe are looking to loan Khazri for a season and they also want to include a right of redemption clause in any agreement with Sunderland
Following Sunderland’s relegation to the Championship the chances of the player remaining with the Black Cats are now slim, and Khazri recently confirmed he doesn’t want to play in the second tier.
Khazri is now reportedly considering his options and a move to Fenerbahçe could be tempting for the Tunisia international.
The player turned out 21 times for Sunderland in the Premier League last season, but the majority of his appearances came from the bench.
