Thilo Kehrer is ‘open to a move’ away from Paris Saint Germain this summer and is ‘still considering’ an offer from West Ham United.

That’s according to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who says the defender is yet to make a decision about his future in the French capital.

Kehrer is believed to be a part of the group of undesirables in the current PSG squad, with the French giants keen to move on several players from Christophe Galtier’s squad.

He’s subsequently been linked with several clubs, including West Ham, who are keen to add to their defence after injuries have hit in that area once again.

Several reports have suggested they are very keen on the defender, with it stated earlier this week that they are ‘seriously considering’ a transfer.

Hawkins backs that up somewhat, stating that Kehrer has an offer on the table from West Ham and is ‘considering’ whether to accept it.

He doesn’t mention the nature of that offer, just that the player is yet to make a decision.

One plus point is that he is open to leaving PSG this summer, so West Ham do have a chance of getting him.

They are also ahead of the competition, with Hawkins also stating that Sevilla are ‘starting from much further away’ in negotiations. In other words, West Ham are out in front.

The Hammers still have some work to do to get this deal over the line, then, but it seems a deal is very much on the table.
